Gorgeous. Historic. Beloved. Unique.

The Coke Ovens Bluegrass Festival, now in its 25th year, is a must-do event for the region’s many bluegrass lovers. Held the first weekend in June at the Coke Ovens Park in Dunlap, Tenn., the festival attracts southeastern Tennessee’s best bluegrass acts and devoted fans from all over the country. Performers and listeners alike savor the unique setting – a rustic stage built from old railroad timbers nestled in a natural amphitheater at the foot of Fredonia Mountain and surrounded by mature trees. In between sets, visitors explore the park’s local history museum and examine the beehive-shaped coke ovens, century-old relics of Dunlap’s coal mining days.

JOIN US JUNE 3 & 4, 2011, AS WE CELEBRATE THE FESTIVAL’S 25th ANNIVERSARY!
